From the very start, we’ve believed there’s a better way to do the work, and we’ve been willing to challenge convention to find it. By combining common sense with engineering and manufacturing expertise, we build brands and solutions that don’t just improve the job. They change how the work gets done.
BUILDING ON A PROVEN HISTORY
Our story started on a Texas Panhandle farm, where Gary Sage invented an enclosed pump-free system to clean up dirty oil changes. He ended up changing the preventive maintenance industry for good.
That solution quickly grew into a comprehensive lineup of Sage Oil Vac equipment. Consistent demand drove the acquisition of Amarillo Tanks (previously Wilborn Brothers). And the need for more custom work vehicle options in the market led us to build Amarillo Upfitters.
In 2026, we created Sage Mfg. to unite all our brands under one industrial company portfolio. As the parent company, we provide the vision, governance and operational discipline to ensure our companies can continue to grow and manufacture quality products responsibly and sustainably.
